Teachers, first responders, healthcare workers and other essential workers should be able to afford to live in the communities they serve. As an employer in North Fulton for more than 20 years, Kevin saw how housing costs, wages, benefits and long commutes determine whether people can build stable lives near their workplaces.

In the State Senate, Kevin will:

• Protect housing tax credits and strengthen renter stability to increase attainable housing

• Oppose tax cuts that mostly benefit the wealthy and are paid for by working families

• Fight for a fair tax system in which everyone pays their share

Healthcare should be a right, not a privilege.

While Kevin was being diagnosed with stage-four cancer, a paperwork problem briefly interrupted his insurance. It was fixed, but he learned how quickly a health crisis can become a financial crisis. His children work in healthcare and see the gaps in our system every day.

In the State Senate, Kevin will:

• Create opportunity for more Georgians to see a doctor when they need one

• Lower prescription drug prices and out-of-pocket costs

• Protect access to quality care, including cancer screenings and preventive care

Decisions about pregnancy belong to a woman and her doctor, not politicians. Georgia's abortion ban has made doctors afraid to treat miscarriages and dangerous complications, and Georgia women have died.

In the State Senate, Kevin will:

• Work to overturn Georgia's abortion ban

• Protect doctors' ability to provide emergency and lifesaving care without fear of prosecution

• Protect access to reproductive healthcare, including family planning

Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, regardless of ZIP code or family income. Kevin and Cindy raised their children in Fulton County schools, and as an employer Kevin knows strong schools build a strong workforce.

In the State Senate, Kevin will:

• Fully fund public schools and raise teacher pay

• Reduce class sizes

• Stop taxpayer dollars from being diverted to private school vouchers

North Fulton faces some of the worst traffic in Georgia, costing families time together and making it harder for businesses to grow. Kevin chaired the Georgia Department of Transportation Board and founded Mobility Atlanta, so he knows how transportation decisions and funding really work.

In the State Senate, Kevin will:

• Fight for North Fulton's fair share of state transportation funding

• Reduce congestion and improve road safety

• Expand options for commuters, including reliable transit for people who work here but can't easily drive here

Kevin has built a business, created jobs, served his community and worked with leaders across Georgia. He built a company in the district that provided healthcare benefits to every employee, chaired the Georgia Department of Transportation Board and has spent years helping refugee and immigrant families build new lives here.
