Rooted in Experience. Driven by Purpose.

Family

Cindy and I raised our three children first in Alpharetta, and then in Sandy Springs.  Danielle, Juliana and Eric are grown now, living in three different time zones across the country.  We're all excitedly anticipating Danielle's wedding in April, just a few weeks before the May 2026 primary.

Business

Cindy and I co-found and ran a technology consulting business in Alpharetta for 22 years.  We proudly hired hundreds of individuals during this period.  Our business was like a family.  We understood the importance of treating employees well, always offering generous benefits including a substantial percentage of healthcare insurance premiums.

Community

From my first year in Atlanta when Cindy and I joined the second batch of volunteers onboarded by the newly founded Hands On Atlanta, Cindy and I have always been tightly engaged in our metro Atlanta community.  I found a strong passion working with the refugee resettlement community in Clarkston and have been a volunteer, board member, fund raiser and overall champion of New American Pathways for more than 15 years.  More recently in the wake of the October massacre in Israel, I have advocated tirelessly against the insidious spread of antisemitism that has infected communities across our nation and our world.

Civic

I have always admired and loved America and her potential to be a more perfect Union.  In this spirit I ran for Congress in 2018, hoping to play a meaningful role in bringing about sustainable legislation that would address the big intractable issues of our federal government.  While I didn't win that election, I was fortunate to be elected to the Georgia DOT Board where I was able to play a large role in transportation and infrastructure policy including advancing important transit initiatives in metro Atlanta.
